This variation streamlines the classic dish into a hassle-free sheet pan meal perfect for busy weeknights. By roasting crisp broccoli alongside the salmon, the vegetables caramelize while the fish stays tender, all coated in a homemade sticky honey garlic glaze.
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the teriyaki sauce.
Place the broccoli florets on the baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and 2 tablespoons of the prepared sauce, then toss to coat evenly. Arrange the broccoli around the edges of the pan.
Place the salmon fillets in the center of the baking sheet. Brush a generous amount of the remaining sauce over the top of each fillet (reserve a small amount for serving if desired).
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the broccoli is tender-crisp and the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
Remove from the oven, drizzle with any remaining sauce, and garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
