A vibrant and aromatic dish inspired by the classic Thai Pad Krapow, featuring juicy prawns and fresh basil leaves. This stir-fry delivers a perfect balance of salty, spicy, and sweet flavors that come together in less than 30 minutes.
In a small bowl, whisk together the oyster sauce, soy sauce, fish sauce, sugar, and water to create the stir-fry sauce.
Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the minced garlic and sliced chilies, stir-frying for about 30 seconds until fragrant but not burnt.
Add the prawns to the pan and sear for 1-2 minutes until they just start to turn pink.
Toss in the green beans and pour the sauce mixture over the ingredients.
Stir-fry everything together for another 2-3 minutes until the prawns are fully cooked and the beans are tender-crisp.
Remove the pan from the heat and immediately fold in the fresh basil leaves until they wilt slightly.
Serve hot over steamed jasmine rice.
